"For the BLEACH LA exhibition, I painted Rukia Kuchiki, my favorite character from the series. I chose to use detailed line work for the character and applied subtle color gradients to the background to create artwork that embodies both the manga and ukiyo-e aesthetic. Also, the flower stencil that I used with aerosol paints added a more modern look that I’m really happy with."
